To be able to install properly, follow the steps indicated in the installation instructions of the side steps.  Make sure that all the necessary hardware and materials are ready.  If you have a newer vehicle model, manufacturers have already prepared holes for mounting nerf bars while if you have an older model, you need to do the drilling.  In drilling holes, carefully follow the manufacturer’s guide and instructions.  Once the drilling is finished, you can now easily secure the mounting brackets and install the nerf bars.  Ask assistance from your friends in leveling the nerf bars.  Tighten all the bolts and nuts and you are all set.
